The writer and his work

Ramón Pascual Muñoz Soler ( 1919 – 1999) was an Argentine writer known for developing a philosophy of synthesis that seeks to overcome the difficulties imposed by the fragmentation of knowledge, both in humans’ vision of reality and in their vision of themselves, seeking to thus generate a unitive vision of humanity and the cosmos. Hence, his epistemological proposal is not framed within the well-known Hegelian synthesis, quiet on the contrary, it is not the conciliation of opposites that guides his ideas, but the integral union of all the aspects that make the Human-Being a fundamental condition for the development of a new way of understanding reality and acting in it.

Throughout his works,Ramón P. Muñoz Soler conjugates different areas of knowledge,  including medicine, psychiatry, psychobiology, physics, sociology, history, comparitive religions, and education sciences, with his own inner unitive experience and his real and effective participation with human needs. All this to propose the union of the paths of knowledge and of life, of the rational and the mystical, to form an integral human capable of overcoming the existential crisis that humanity faces and confronting the challenges of the third millennium.

So it is that his writing presents a new anthropological dimension: genetic anthropology of the planetary human and cultural anthropology of synthesis.New forms of studying humanity from a new language of synthesis capable of replacing the idea of science explaining the human with the idea of humans explaining themselves to themselves with the language of science.
